1. Own your choices—don’t blame others.
Example: You bomb a math test. Instead of blaming the teacher for “making it too hard,” you admit you didn’t study enough and commit to extra practice.

2. Try to solve problems before asking for help.
For example, your laptop freezes the night before a paper is due. Instead of instantly panicking and calling your parents, you restart it, try a backup, or Google a quick fix before asking for rescue.“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” — Philippians 4:13

3. Manage your emotions, not just your schedule.
Example: A teammate makes fun of your mistake in practice. You want to blow up, but instead you take a deep breath, let it go, and focus on the next play. That’s strength too.
