52 Weeks Of True Stories:
Build Character One Week At A Time

1. Stand firm when it matters most
Don’t change your values just to fit in with the crowd; if friends start gossiping, choose to walk away instead of tearing someone down. “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.” — 1 Corinthians 16:13

2. Back up your beliefs with action
Show consistency between what you say and what you do; if honesty matters to you, admit when you forgot homework rather than making excuses. “…let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” — 1 John 3:18

3. Build respect by not wavering
People trust you more when they see you don’t compromise on what’s right; if you believe in fairness, speak up when someone is being excluded, even when it’s unpopular. “The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy.” — Proverbs 12:22
