52 Weeks Of True Stories:
Build Character One Week At A Time
1. Give What You Wish Someone Gave You
It’s not always about money. Sometimes, it’s your time, your attention, or even a simple compliment. Ask yourself: What do I wish someone would do for me? Then flip it and do it for someone else first. “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” — Matthew 7:12
2. Generosity Doesn’t Make You Weak—It Makes You Brave
In a world where everyone’s trying to protect what’s theirs, being generous is bold. It means you’re strong enough to think beyond yourself. And believe it or not, people notice.“It is more blessed to give than to receive.” — Acts 20:35
3. Be Generous When No One’s Watching
That’s when your character shows up. Giving without expecting credit or praise? That’s real. That’s leadership. That’s the kind of person others quietly look up to. “But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” — Matthew 6:3–4
