What you just watched:

John Burns showed courage, but what made his story unforgettable was something else.

Abraham Lincoln recognized it… and honored it. That’s where gratitude comes in.

So what do we do with what you just saw?

Start with the first question below.

  1. Where have you seen someone do something brave, but not get recognized for it?
  2. Who in your life deserves appreciation right now for something they did, even if no one else noticed?
  3. What would happen if you told them what it meant to you?

Try one of these this week—start small:

Thank someone for something they didn’t expect recognition for. You might be the only one who says it.

Tell them specifically why it mattered. Not just “thanks”—but what it meant.

Say it now, not later. Gratitude loses power when it’s delayed.
