What act of compassion can you choose to do this week?

What you just watched:

Tillie Pierce showed compassion, not by having the right words, but by being present when others needed it most

Keep this where you can see it this week.

                    THINK

Why do people sometimes need someone simply to stay with them?

Is listening sometimes more powerful than speaking?

How can small actions make a difficult day easier for someone else?

DECIDE

Decide to be present for people instead of avoiding them

Decide to listen before trying to fix everything

Decide that kindness does not have to be dramatic to matter

ACT

Sit with someone who’s having a tough day.

You don’t have to fix anything—just be there.

Let someone talk — and listen — without interrupting.

Sometimes listening is more powerful than giving advice.

Stay a little longer instead of walking away.

When someone’s struggling, your presence matters more than your words.

This Week’s Challenge

What act of compassion will you choose to do this week?

In the next 7 days, I will take one action that reflects this value.

Want to go further with this?

This 4-book Choose Your Future series helps you build these values—one week at a time.

These videos are part of a larger effort to guide and equip young people.
